DD Free Dish 46 E Auction Channel List

Prasar Bharati, the Public Broadcaster of India, announced the result of DD Free Dish 46 E-Auction which was held on 17th June 2020. 7 old channels along with 8 new MPEG4 channels will be added w.e.f. 1st July 2020. 46th E-Auction announced by Prasar Bharati

Prasar Bharati, the Public Broadcaster released a notification on 30th May 2020 regarding the allotment of MPEG-4 slots on DD Free Dish DTH Platform through 46th Online E-Auction for the period w.e.f. 1st July 2020 to 30th June 2020.

But after a few days, Prasar Bharati releases a corrigendum on 6th June 2020 that the period of channels will be till 31st March 2020 instead of 30th June 2020. The Private Broadcaster was given the time to submit their applications till 15th June 2020.

E-Auction delayed for one day

The last date for the submission of applications for 46th E-auction was 15th June 2020 and the E-Auction would be held on 16th June 2020. But Prasar Bharati delayed the E-Auction for one day i.e. 17th June 2020.

DD Free Dish 46 E-Auction Channel List

Prasar Bharati on 22nd June 2020 declared the result of 46th E-Auction of DD Free Dish MPEG-4 slots. A total of 15 channels will be added to the DD Free Dish platform w.e.f. 1st July 2020. The genre-wise list of DD Free Dish 46 E-Auction Channels is as under:

MPEG-4 Set-Top Box required to watch channels

The above mentioned 15 channels will start broadcasting w.e.f. 1st July 2020 but to watch these channels you have to install an icas MPEG-4 Set-Top Box which should be authorized by Prasar Bharati.

If you want to check the list of authorized dealers, you can check here. But currently, you can watch dd free dish MPEG-4 channels on any normal MPEG-4 set-top box which is available in the market between 900 to 1500.

But for the future, you must install an icas set-top box because the broadcasting in non-authorized set-top boxes may be held any time.
